aka Meesh & Marg. The Alter to our Egos.

Best friends since birth, lifelong partners-in-crime, and now co-re-founders of Alter Ego Cider. Since we were kids, we dreamed of running a business together. We didn’t know exactly what it would be, but we knew it had to bring joy, do good, and be something we could pour our hearts & souls into!

We have had a behind-the-scenes education in the craft beverage world, courtesy of Stuart & Josh (Stuart, Michelle’s Husband & Josh, his Business Partner). They have co-developed and launched a brewery, tap houses and other fun bars & restaurants across Oregon and Washington. And while beer has its charm, we’ve always been wine and cider girlies; the deliciously crisp, slightly rebellious alter ego to beer, you might say.

Our friendship is part Rachel & Monica, part Meredith & Cristina. Equal parts laughter, loyalty and “you’re my person.” We believe in making something that’s not just good. . .it’s good to the core: locally crafted, women-owned, community-minded, and unapologetically fun.

So here’s to apples that are a little tart, friendships that are a little sweet, and cider that’s a whole lot of both.
